This is a small guide to new and old students, this will tell you everything you will need to know to participate in one of our lessons.
Firstly how?
TransPondAir’s training school is run by a company called FSTeach which will offer you good, professional lessons.
FSTeach does not require you to download any special software to participate in one of its lessons. All you need is FSX with SP2 (you will not need SP2 if you have acceleration) a working mic and a broadband connection.
We advise you read everything below before booking a lesson, after this you will get a E-mail from one of the FSTeach instructors giving you all the details about the lesson including the teacher and time of the lesson.
All you need to do now is turn up at the time allocated and tune into the freq in the E-mail to start your lesson.
Where?
FSTeach currently operates out of three different Hubs with-in the UK.
EGJJ Jersey
Used for novices and beginners for all prop and Control lessons, the taxiways are easy to navigate, it has an easy approach and it’s pretty easy to control.
EGBB Birmingham
Used for Pilots/Controllers with a little more experience for all lessons both Pilots and Controllers. The taxiways are a little harder to navigate, the approach is still pretty easy and it’s a little more challenging to control
EGLL Heathrow
Used for Pilots/Controllers who are experienced this will be used for both Pilot and Controller lessons and will be mainly used as a home hub to start long Airliner trips
Other Hubs may be used depending on the teacher.
When?
This will be settled on three different factors:
The students preferred time The teachers preferred time How long the lesson will take
This will be decided between the FSTeach Staff and the Teacher but don’t worry there will be a list of times and dates the Teacher can do all you have to do is pick one
What?
FSTeach use three main Aircraft to teach:
Cessna Skyhawk Boeing 747 Boeing 737
Your Particular Aircraft for the lesson will be sent to you in a E-mail as well as the rest of the information you will need for the lesson Other Aircraft may be used depending on the Teacher
